Die Deutsche Wochenschau was a weekly propaganda newsreel that was filmed in the frontlines
and shown in movie theatres at home and also at the front.

The material was filmed by Kriegsberichter movie teams that followed the combat troops into
action and often paid the great footage we have today with their lives.
