Waldkampf - Forest fighting

 

Forest fighting was something completely new to German Mountain troopers. In thick Finnish forest one can not rely on landmarks when
travelling from Punkt A to Punkt B. Instead one has to rely on compass and that is something Finnish Waffenbrüder could teach to Germans.

With kind help from Finns, Germans made a manual about forest warfare and orientating to their troops.
