"M36", "M40" or
"M42/M43" tunics are allowed for
all,
officers can use custom-made officer service tunics.
"M44" late-war field uniform
is not recommended due to the fact that it saw very little if any
service with
"Nord".

Boots
Due to the make up of SS Nord all patterns of boots issued by the
German army were found in
"Nord" photos
and a writen reference shows that Finnish
ski boots were also issued.
Gebirgsjäger mountain boots,
traditional
Knobelbecher jackboots
and
Schnurschuhe low ankle
boots
seem to be the normal foot wear so for this reason those three are
allowed.
For winter use Finnish Lapland boots and German felt boots are allowed
- and warmly recommended!
Camouflage uniforms
"Nord" was issued camouflage
uniforms in many different
(Waffen-SS)
patterns and almost all of them are allowed for our members,
except
"Dot44" or
"Erbsenmuster" (until we gt
photographic proof that it was used in Finnish front),
"Leibermuster" for obvious reasons
and
"Italian camo" for
obvious reasons as well.
Both "1st" and "2nd" pattern smocks are allowed. Field modification of
smocks is
allowed for officers and NCO's only. No field made trousers are to be
worn by any rank.
Summer Uniform
The green two pocket cotton work tunic and trousers seem to be the the
common uniform in all the photos of junior ranks.
Officers and NCOs can wear the 4 pocket cotton tunic, other ranks will
use the 2 pocket cotton uniform.
"Sahariana" and all other
Waffen-SS summer uniforms in khaki
or other brown shades are not allowed,
same goes with modified
Heer tropical uniforms.
Winter uniform
All ranks can use following winter uniforms:
- two piece reversible winter uniform (just
as long as the camo side is not "
Dot44"
or "
Leibermuster"
pattern)
- traditional field grey greatcoat (
Mantel)
in all patterns
- fur-lined "Kharkow parka" anorak
-
Gebirgsjäger reversible
winter anorak (with three chest pockets) and applicable trousers
(but do note that this uniform must be reversible to white, absolutely
no camouflage versions of this uniform)
