August 2008 re-enactment and training weekend was held in the first weekend of August.
For once, the weather was on our side and we could have our happening in sunny and warm weather
instead of more usual rain and cold.

Program for the weekend included march to Mauser-Höhe, camping there for the night, marching back to HQ,
cleaning weapons and taking care of equipment and after that r&r with sauna and Front-Kino.

On the way to Mauserhöhe (Mauser Hill). SS-Sturmmann Koch with his rifle and backpack.

Small break on the way. SS-Oberscharführer Thomas Ullrich wipes sweat whilst SS-Sturmmann Koch has a drink
and SS-Oberschütze Eichen fixes the straps of his backpack. Our Finnish guide on the right of the picture.

Finally on Mauser-Höhe, just before the sunset. Wet clothes were dried on campfire.
