Training in the field

After field exercises it was time for a small break and after that we had a special visitor: SS-Unterscharführer veteran from Finnish Waffen-SS battalion
paid a visit to our troop and instructed us about rifle drill and close order.

Rifle drill needs lots and lots of practice. As our veteran instructor said:
"In SS barracs in Wien we trained rifle drill for 3 days and nights in row. Even most hard-headed Finns learned everything"
We did not train that long - this time!

Das Gewehr - ab!

Stillgestanden!

After rifle training it was time to assemble the whole troop together.

SS-Oberschütze Klaus Thome was awarded KVK2 (War Merit Cross 2nd class with swords) for his
brave action and exemplary efforts with unit supply duties during Winter training 2011.

Congratulations of Kameraden
