MP40

Maschinenpistole 40, also known as MP40. Caliber 9mm Parabellum (9x19), weight approx 4kp, rate of fire 500 rounds per minute.

Originally developed for paratroopers and platoon/squad leaders, this weapon was used by all branches of the German Wehrmacht. MP40 was developed from earlier MP38
by simplifying the desing and replacing many machined parts with stamped ones. Due to its low rate of fire MP40 was quite easy to handle.

In Michael Gaißmair MP40 machine pistol is allowed for NCO's and officers only.
